You must be 18 years or over to sell your gold or silver to Big cash4gold now known below as BC4G You must be the legal owner of the property you intend to sell and if requested you will be able to prove that ownership with a receipt or similar documentary proof. You must be acting for yourself as owner of the property to be sold, or, the owner of the property must authorize you in writing to act on their behalf. Free Posting You should send your goods to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery packs that we supply Free to you, this is insured for a max of £500. If you wish to increase this insurance then you must choose a level of insurance that is adequate for the value of goods sent via your own insurers. Any insurance claim must be made through Royal Mail or through your own insurance company if applicable. We do not accept any responsibility for address inaccuracies made by the customer. Special offers * The 25% extra offeronly applies upon the gold received being worth a value of £100.00 no other % will be added above or below £ 100.00 Testing your goods We will test your gold using high quality industry standard weighing and testing machines and will report the findings back to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours of receipt. Part of the testing process for gold can involve the use of chemicals which may discolour your item. This discolouration will not affect the value of your item and should you wish to have it returned, and should be able to be polished out by a jeweller. Non Hallmarked Items We will accept non hallmarked items, however these may require further more detailed testing than hallmarked goods. In this event we will keep you informed of the process and give you a revised timescale for your offer of purchase. Non Gold Items Any non gold items will not be returned to you, unless you specifically request them to be returned. If you wish to have these items returned we will agree a price with you before the items are removed for the cost of returning them to you. Our offer to buy your items Once we have received the report on your items we will contact you and explain the findings of the report. *If we cannot contact you we will send you payment. We will then allow a further 5 days from the date of payment for you to contact us. After this time your gold will be processed and cannot be returned Our offer to purchase will be based solely on the gold content and weight of your items. The price offered to purchase your gold will be valid for 24 hours, after that time we may need to change the price we can offer you due to fluctuations in the market price for gold. Once the agreed amount of payment for your goods is sent to you, ownership of the goods will pass to BC4G Your Payment Once you have accepted our offer we will process your payment within 24 hours excluding weekends and bank holidays. Payments can be made to you by bank transfer or cheque. Bank transfers will be sent within 24hrs, the time to reach you account will depend on your banks current policy (usually no more than 3 days after the payment is sent). Cheques will be sent by royal Mail 1st class post. As soon as we have processed your payment we will assume ownership of the goods and they will be sent for reclamation. Complaints Procedure We aim to offer a level of service that will not draw complaints, however should you not be happy with the service you have received please contact us as soon as possible. We will endeavour to resolve all complaints within 5 working days of receipt. Data Protection Your personal information and payment details will be protected in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Limitation of Liability This limitation of liability shall be binding on each and every customer and any third party, including, but not limited to, the customer and the customer's successors, assigns, insurance carriers and any other individual or entity asserting any right or claim relating to customer's transaction with BC4G. No liability will be accepted for loss or damage resulting from the use of services offered by BC4G and in no event shall the company be liable to any third party. BC4G shall not be liable for any subrogation claim brought by any customer?s insurer. By sending an item to BC4G, the customer expressly and specifically waives any such subrogation claim on his or her behalf as well as on the behalf of his or her insurance company. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, us and our affiliated companies, from any and all claims or demands, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the services. Miscellaneous By using the service and therefore accepting the terms and conditions stated above you agree that these Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales and that any potential dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time without notice provided. It is entirely your responsibility to check these before using the service offered by BC4G In the event that any of the terms and conditions stated herein is considered to be invalid by a court, this shall not affect the remainder part of these terms and conditions.
